Welcome to Chamber of Industries Morang (CIM)

Established in 2024 B.S. (1967 A.D.) the Chamber of Industries Morang (CIM) is one of Nepal's leading Business Membership Organizations (BMOs), representing industries and enterprises across Koshi Province. With a proud legacy of nearly six decades, CIM has been serving as the collective voice of the industrial community, promoting industrial growth, entrepreneurship, investment, and a competitive business environment.

CIM works closely with industries, entrepreneurs, government agencies, development partners, and academic institutions to strengthen the private sector through policy advocacy, business development services, capacity building, and strategic partnerships. The Chamber is committed to creating an enabling ecosystem that enhances productivity, innovation, exports, sustainable industrialization, and employment generation.

Today, CIM is expanding its role beyond a traditional chamber by developing an integrated Opportunity Ecosystem—connecting industries with entrepreneurs, investors, skilled human resources, markets, technology, and knowledge. Through initiatives such as the CIM Entrepreneurs Academy, Startup & Incubation Program, Business Development Services, and Policy Advocacy, CIM continues to empower businesses and contribute to the sustainable economic development of Koshi Province and Nepal.

For nearly 60 years, CIM has stood alongside industries—supporting growth, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities for a stronger and more competitive industrial future.

Welcome to the Chamber of Industries Morang (CIM)

For nearly six decades, CIM has remained a trusted partner of Nepal’s industrial community, representing the voice of industries and working tirelessly to create an enabling environment for sustainable industrial and economic growth. Our journey has been built on a strong commitment to serving businesses through policy advocacy, business development services, capacity building, and meaningful collaboration with government, development partners, and the private sector.

As we begin the 2025–2027 tenure, we are guided by a clear vision—to build a more competitive, innovative, and resilient industrial ecosystem. Through our Strategic Roadmap 2025–2027, we are expanding our focus beyond traditional chamber activities to create new opportunities in entrepreneurship development, startup promotion, workforce development, investment facilitation, digital transformation, and sustainable industrial practices.

At CIM, we believe that the strength of our industries lies in collaboration. We are committed to providing practical solutions, advocating for evidence-based policies, strengthening business networks, and supporting enterprises of all sizes to adapt, innovate, and grow in an increasingly dynamic global economy.

Our mission is not only to represent industries but also to create an Opportunity Ecosystem where entrepreneurs, industries, investors, educational institutions, policymakers, and development partners work together to unlock new possibilities for economic prosperity.

Mission

CIM is a not-for-profit making organization legally registered at District Administration Office under the Association Registration Act 1977. CIM is also affiliated with FNCCI, an apex body of Nepalese private sector.

Vision

Contribute to develop prosperous Nepal through the promotion & development of economic and industrial sector.

Objective

To support member industries by providing business development services. To articulate interests of members industries and present to the concern authorities. To conduct policies research and implement policy advocacy campaign systematically.
